On January 22-23 of this year, the Uzbek-Chinese Educational Forum is being held in Beijing, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

More than 90 rectors of universities in China and 37 in Uzbekistan took part in the academic exchange within the framework of the forum, negotiations are underway to strengthen cooperation between higher educational institutions.

After the forum was declared open, the Beijing Declaration on Cooperation in Higher Education between the two countries was signed. This document aims to achieve the following results:

• Creation of an exchange mechanism between Uzbek and Chinese higher educational institutions.

• Creation of an exchange mechanism between Uzbek and Chinese higher educational institutions.

• Creation of the “Uzbek-Chinese Association of Universities”.

• Establishing cooperation between Uzbekistan and China on high-quality digital education.

• Serving the economic and social development of Uzbekistan and China.

• The development of mutual education between Uzbekistan and China.
