UZSWLU REPRESENTATIVES HELD A CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EVENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SAO PAULO

As part of the visit of representatives of Uzbekistan State World Languages University to the Brazilian University of Sao Paulo, a cultural and educational event was organized. The event was attended by students of the University of Sao Paulo, teachers, government officials and members of the public.

At the beginning of the event, the rector of UzSWLU, Prof. I. Tukhtasinov, spoke about the strong ties between the two universities, reforms in the education system of Uzbekistan and the teaching of foreign languages.

During the event, a video clip about the activities of UzSWLU was shown, and members of the delegation talked about the great personalities of Uzbekistan.

The event presents exhibition materials related to the culture and traditions of Uzbekistan. The participants were also offered to try different sweets and dried fruits from Uzbekistan.

There was also a presentation on the theme “Priceless Heritage of Uzbekistan”, telling about historical, cultural monuments, the scientific and educational heritage of our great ancestors, an exhibition of samples of national crafts and miniatures, Uzbek national songs were performed.
