A NUMBER OF BILATERAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN SIGNED BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND FRANCE

Following the talks held in Samarkand, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron adopted a joint statement.

A number of bilateral documents on education and culture, as well as on other areas of cooperation were signed in the presence of the Presidents. Including:

• Intergovernmental agreement on the establishment and activities of the Samarkand French Alliance;

• Protocol on cooperation in the field of preschool, school, vocational and higher education;

• Declaration on cooperation in the field of cultural heritage;

• Agreement on cooperation in the field of vocational and technical education.
