STAFF AND TEACHERS OF THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM COMPLETED AN INTERNSHIP IN SWITZERLAND

Today, the year-end meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Swiss project “Supporting Professional Education Reforms in Uzbekistan” (VETUZ) was held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

At the meeting, it was noted that the work carried out by the members of the Coordination Committee in the vocational education system within the framework of the project during 2023, including personnel management, ensuring the quality of education, developing the professional competencies of pedagogues, and developing personnel training with the involvement of the private sector, were determined.

At the same time, the work planned for the implementation of the project in 2024 was discussed and approved by the members of the Coordination Committee.

For reference: Approximately 1,500 employees of ministries and agencies, as well as leaders and pedagogues, were trained. Three professional standards and four training programs for managers and pedagogues were improved. Thirty leaders and pedagogues of the vocational education system visited Switzerland for training. Research was conducted on quality assurance in vocational education and the management of vocational educational institutions, and methodical manuals were published.
