On November 19, 2020, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Mr. Manish Prabhat paid a visit to Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The distinguished guest was accompanied by Shekhar Chandra, Director of the Cultural Center of India in Tashkent.
During the visit, Ambassador H.E. Shri Manish Prabhat met with the university administration, headed by the rector prof. Ulugbek Azizov.
The parties discussed a number of issues regarding mutual cooperation in the field of science, culture and education.
The official meeting was followed by the opening of the India Study Room and a cultural event with the participation of students studying the language and culture of India.
