NEW TV CHANNEL “FOREIGN LANGUAGES” STARTED BROADCASTING IN UZBEKISTAN

On December 6, at 09:00, a new Foreign Languages TV channel began broadcasting in Uzbekistan.

“Foreign Languages” is being created on the basis of the Oilaviy tv channel in the system of the national television and radio company of Uzbekistan.

The main tasks of the channel “Foreign Languages” are defined:

• popularizing the study of foreign languages among the population, especially the younger generation;
• showcasing popular science, documentaries, feature films that help students master foreign languages;
• attracting qualified specialists to live language programs, as well as creating and broadcasting with their participation TV programs, videos, games, entertainment programs, films and educational materials;
• promoting the best practices of professionals who have achieved success in professional translation, etc.
