TASHKENT HOSTS A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL EVENT: THE 16TH SUMMIT OF THE ECONOMIC COOPERATION ORGANIZATION

On November 8-9, the 16th Summit of the Organization of Economic Cooperation is held in Tashkent, chaired by the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The summit will be attended by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Iran Ibrahim Raisi, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Head of the interim Government of Pakistan Anwar ul-Haq Kakar and ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri.

Today, on November 8, delegations will start arriving in Tashkent. The President of our country will hold bilateral meetings with their heads. In particular, negotiations with the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, the head of the interim Government of Pakistan and the ECO Secretary General are scheduled for today.

The high-level meeting will take place tomorrow, November 9, where a number of bilateral meetings are planned.
