THE FACULTY OF THE INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC ACADEMY IMPROVES THEIR QUALIFICATIONS IN THE SULTANATE OF OMAN

Representatives of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan are studying at Sultan Qaboos University, which is considered an advanced higher education institution of the Sultanate of Oman.

A group of faculty members of the Al-Azhar Arabic Language and Literature Department of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan is taking part in a refresher course organized at the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Foreigners at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman.

During the training course, representatives of the Academy get acquainted with modern methods of teaching a foreign language, the use of new pedagogical technologies in the educational process, as well as with international standards for assessing foreign language proficiency, such as CEFR, ACTFL, OPT, ISLRP.

The program of advanced training courses includes many activities, in particular, lectures, cultural evenings, educational excursions to various historical and cultural sites, as well as lessons in Arabic calligraphy.
