THE FIRST UZBEK-ITALIAN EDUCATIONAL FORUM IS BEING HELD IN TASHKENT

The First Uzbek-Italian educational forum aimed at further strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and Italy in the field of higher education is being held at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

Initially, a tour of the university was organized for the visitors of the forum. The guests were presented the activities of the university’s information and resource center with more than 130 thousand units of literature, chemical laboratories, a sports complex, lecture halls, and a Mechatronics Center.

On the same day, the opening of the Italian-Uzbek Center for Advanced Engineering took place within the framework of the first Uzbek-Italian educational forum at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

This center is designed to expand production facilities in the field of mechanical engineering, textiles, and the leather industry in Uzbekistan through the continuous introduction of advanced and innovative technologies in Italy, professional development of Uzbek specialists, dissemination of pilot projects, specialized information, support for Italian-Uzbek investments and joint ventures in the sectors envisaged with the involvement of the private sector of the two states. infrastructure and it was noted that it serves to create conditions.

The Center will study the problems of enterprises in our country’s textile, leather industry and mechanical engineering and provide them with practical assistance in finding solutions. Also, with the help of the center, highly qualified personnel will be trained.

It should be noted that the forum, held at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent under the leadership of Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kolokolchik Sharipov and Minister of Universities and Research of Italy Anna Maria Bernini, is attended by about 25 Italian universities, as well as rectors of more than 40 leading universities in the country.
