The intensive training on “Principles of continuous professional development of English language teachers” (Accelerating English language Learning in Central Asia), held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, has ended.

During the training program, participants shared their experiences on new pedagogical approaches, innovative techniques and best practices.

The training was organized with the participation of foreign experts, as well as leading teachers of Uzbekistan.

160 English language teachers actively participated in the training, and consolidated their knowledge and skills.

The project was implemented with the cooperation of the British Council in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Tashkent State Pedagogical University.

This training was an important step in improving the English teacher training system in Uzbekistan and bringing it in line with international educational standards.
