TRAINING COURSE WITHIN ACCELERATING ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING IN CENTRAL ASIA STARTED

On January 9, 2025, Uzbekistan State World Languages University launched an intensive training on “Principles of continuous professional development for teachers of English” within Accelerating English language Learning in Central Asia.

The rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, took part in the training. As part of the program, foreign experts Tom Riddle, Emma-Jayne Robinson, Lisa Mann, Jamila Gulyamova and Saida Ergasheva shared their skills and experience with the participants.

160 English language teachers participated in the project, organized jointly with the British Council, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Tashkent State Pedagogical University.
