A GROUP OF SCIENTISTS WHO PUBLISHED ARTICLES IN JOURNALS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCOPUS DATABASE WAS AWARDED

Today, December 6, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation hosted an event dedicated to the national subscription to the international Science Direct database together with Elsevier.

First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov, regional managers of Elsevier made their presentations, and representatives of higher educational institutions and scientific organizations, about 200 specialists and experts in the field of education also took part.

The speakers noted the practical work carried out in recent years to improve the results of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan in international rankings, the pedagogical activities of 10 higher educational institutions that are planned to be included in the list of international rating agencies QS, TNE Scientific, the work on the publication of articles in journals indexed in the international Scopus database.

Elsevier Regional Director for Central Asia and Azerbaijan Damir Rakhmetov demonstrated the scientist’s digital profile and the possibilities of its effective use.

Then the Scopus Awards ceremony was held to reward higher educational and scientific organizations and scientists who have achieved the highest results in the publication of scientific articles in prestigious scientific journals indexed in the international scientific and technical database Scopus.

A number of scientific organizations were awarded in the area of “Social Impact of Scientific Research”, and a group of scientists were awarded individually.
