On November 27 of this year, the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University held a meeting with Dr. Sungdon Hwan, the Secretary General of the Silk Road Universities y Network (SUN).

During the meeting, the Parties agreed on the participation of university students in Photo, Essay and Oratory Contests.

The event is dedicated to the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo, which will be held in Venice, Italy, in 2024 as part of the SUN.

Also, partners agreed on the organization of a conference in UzSWLU on the topic “Creation of a New Silk Road Map”.
