A meeting was held with Mr. Nasser al-Nawalai, representative of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Uzbekistan, with the leadership of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

At the meeting, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, presenting information about the university, put forward proposals for developing ties between the universities of the two countries, creating opportunities for Arabic language teachers, researchers and university students, as well as developing cooperation in other fields.

Nasr al-Mawali acknowledged that the signing of an interdepartmental or intergovernmental agreement on the recognition of diplomas and academic degrees awarded by universities of the two countries, universities of Oman, in particular Sultan Qaboos University and Nizwa University, will become the basis for attracting many students and researchers from the Sultanate of Oman to Uzbekistan.
