Today, a seminar was organized by Prof. Beruniy Alimov, a director of the non-governmental organization ‘Yangi Media Ta’lim Markazi‘ and by Gulmira Shukurova, an executive director of the center for the students of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
Students were informed about the concept of media and information literacy, base competencies and skills.
In addition, the experts shared the secrets of how not to get lost in the media space, be able to resist false reports and regularly conduct fact-checking. During the seminar, the trainers gave information about the platform mediasaboq.uz. The event was held in the brainstorming style and was rich in discussions and debates.
The event was attended by the UzSWLU rector, students of the Media and Communication Faculty and staff.
