AN EVENT DEDICATED TO THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK DAY WAS HELD

Uzbekistan State World Languages University, with the assistance of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Uzbekistan, organized an event dedicated to International Book Day.

The event was opened by the rector of UZSWLU prof. I. Tukhtasinov. After, Mohammed Al Zahiri, Head of the Department of Economics, Politics and Mass Media of the UAE Embassy in Uzbekistan, made a report on international cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates.

During the event, Rashidova Amina made a presentation on the “Benefits of reading”, dedicated to International Book Day, as well as a speech by students in Arabic about the work “Kissati” (“My Story”), owned by Her Majesty, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Governor of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al Maktoum, Uzbek dance performed by student Chorikulova Shakhrinoza and other performances were included in the program.
