AN EVENT DEDICATED TO UZBEK-CHINESE COOPERATION HAS BEEN ORGANIZED

A delegation consisting of the secretariat of the Scholarship Council of the People’s Republic of China and heads of higher educational institutions visited the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the Scholarship Council of the People’s Republic of China Tian Lulu, Director of the Department for Work with International Students of the Scholarship Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Yangguan, head of the project of the Scholarship Council of the People’s Republic of China for Europe, Asia and Africa Huang Yuebin, guests from 80 universities of the People’s Republic of China, paid an introductory visit to UZSWLU, where they were met by Rector I.Tukhtasinov and the governing body of the university.

During the visit, the guests met with the university administration. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A.Nasirov, Head of the Department of International Relations H.Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology D.Juraev, Head of the Department of Chinese Philology Sh.Khakimova, teachers and students studying Chinese.

Within the framework of the visit, the event dedicated to the “Uzbek-Chinese Prosperity” was organized.

Songs glorifying the unity of friendship between Uzbekistan and China were performed at the event, and stage performances, calligraphy, national dances and songs of the People’s Republic of China were demonstrated.
