It was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, rectors and vice-rectors of more than 40 universities in China, as well as employees of interested ministries and departments, heads of more than 100 public and private higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

The event was opened by Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Shakhlo Turdikulova.

“I would like to emphasize that cooperation with Chinese universities in various fields of modern science, education and innovation is one of the priorities of our international cooperation in the field of education,” noted the Deputy Minister.

Then Ms. Tian Lulu, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Scholarship Council under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, made a speech and noted that more than 80 representatives of 44 Chinese universities arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in this exhibition.
