APPLICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE GRANT PROGRAM “MODERNIZATION OF STATE RESEARCH INSTITUTES” (PRIM) ARE OPEN

The MUNIS project Implementation Group at the Agency for Innovative Development initiated a competitive grant program for the modernization of state scientific organizations – Public Research Institutes Modernization (PRIM).

The purpose of the PRIM program is to promote the strategic vision and development of plans for the institutional modernization of state research organizations in Uzbekistan, support comprehensive modernization in accordance with national goals.

The PRIM program funds the following areas:
1 is a component. Research infrastructure
2-component. Capacity building
3-component. Strategic planning and management
4-component. Learning and knowledge sharing
5-component. Research and business cooperation
6-component. Community engagement and outreach

Key conditions of the PRIM program:
The grant amount is up to $200,000 per 1 state scientific organization;
Project implementation – up to 12 months on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
The grantee is a state scientific organization;
A consultant with international experience is required to participate in the project team;
The deadline for submitting an application is 09/20/2024.
