BRITISH COUNCIL LAUNCHED A NEW ASSESSMENT ESSENTIALS PROGRAMME

To support large-scale reform in public education the Republican Scientific and Methodological Centre for the Development of Education and the British Council launched a new Assessment Essentials programme for senior education professionals. They are representatives of the Republican Scientific and Methodological Centre for the Development of Education, Ministry of Pre-School and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Competences.

The programme started with a series of online webinars on key assessment principles as well as test design and development processes. It was followed by face-to-face training to focus on key assessment concepts and approaches and discuss the importance of alignment in education systems.

The next round of webinars will introduce Comprehensive Learning System.

The whole programme is designed and delivered by the British Council Global Assessments and Assessment Solutions teams.
