On February 9, on the occasion of the 583rd anniversary of the birth of the great Uzbek poet and thinker Alisher Navoi, a flower-laying ceremony was held in Moscow at his monument.
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov, members of the diplomatic corps, director of the Center for Uzbek Language and Culture of MGLU, Uzbek language teacher Begam Karayeva, undergraduate student of the course “International Relations” Turebayeva Nigora, as well as students of the joint educational program UZSWLU — MGLU.
