An international scientific and practical conference “Modern Technologies of Teaching Foreign Languages and Topical Issues of Translation Studies” was organized at the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages.

The conference was headed by the Vice-rector for Research and Innovation M.A.Kurbanov, who revealed and expressed his opinion that modern technologies are widely used in the study of foreign languages today.

Doctor of Philology, Professor M.Umarkhuzhaev delivered a speech and noted that several works on translation studies are being carried out, in particular, special applications for mobile communication devices have been developed.

During the conference, teachers and undergraduates of the university made scientific reports.
