ISSUES OF COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND INNOVATION WERE DISCUSSED IN DOHA

In Doha, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kongratbai Sharipov, held a meeting with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, Mrs. Butaina bint Ali Al-Nuaimi.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the two states in higher education, science and innovation were discussed.

Uzbekistan has put forward a number of important initiatives. In particular, close cooperation was proposed between higher educational institutions of the two countries in the field of artificial intelligence, information technology, green economy, renewable energy sources, food security and the oil and gas industry.

On the same day, the delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the fifth United Nations event on the occasion of the “Day for the Protection of Education” in Doha, Qatar.
