KALMYK STATE UNIVERSITY DELEGATION ARRIVED IN TASHKENT TO ENHANCE COOPERATION WITH HEIs OF UZBEKISTAN

Today, on June 10, the delegation of the Kalmyk State University arrived with an official visit to the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The KalmSU delegation was headed by the rector prof. Salayev Badma Katinovic, candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, honored teacher of the Republic of Kalmykia, an honored worker of the national economy of the Republic of Kalmykia, Honorary worker of primary vocational education.

During the visit, was held a meeting between the rectors of the KalmykSU B.K.Salayev and the rector of the UzSWLU G.H.Rakhimov. Also, the meeting was attended by the administration and teaching staff of the two universities.

The parties discussed issues on further expansion of bilateral cooperation. In particular, they touched upon the issues of mutually beneficial exchange of students and teaching staff of universities, the creation of a Joint research team to further develop the points of the “Road Map” developed by the parties during mutual visits. The parties also discussed specific measures for the development of online courses for bachelors and masters of two universities.

The delegation of Kalmyk State University named after B.B.Gorodovikov during the stay in Uzbekistan also intends to visit a number of universities to strengthen bilateral relations and expand areas of cooperation.
