PRESENTATION OF UZBEK SCHOOL HELD AT TASHKENT STATE UNIVERSITY OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

The presentation of the Uzbek School – Language Preparation Course For Foreigners was held on November 25, 2022, in the Hall of International Office at TSUULL.

Today’s Presentation Ceremony was attended by Embassies Representatives of foreign countries in Uzbekistan and representatives of international organizations. All of them expressed their desire to learn the Uzbek language in this unique center, wished success to the activity of the Uzbek School and offered to implement large projects in cooperation.

TSUULL University has undertaken important tasks such as increasing the influence of the Uzbek Language and Literature, widely promoting the national language and developing special methods for teaching it. Since the TSUULL University opened its doors in 2016, Uzbek Language Courses For Foreigners have been started at the University as a test version. 

While teaching the Uzbek language to a small number of foreigners, TSUULL have gained experience in language teaching, mastering international methodical knowledge and recording positive results using them. During the courses, the Uzbek language is taught using the most modern methods and tools: in small or medium groups or individually according to the wishes of language learners. In preparatory courses, the Uzbek language is taught in forms integrated into various fields, for example, the Uzbek language in the business sector, the Uzbek language for representatives of the diplomatic field, etc.

Nozliya Normurodova, who is a co-founder of Uzbek School and TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation communicated with the attendees of event :

– More than 300 foreigners, including citizens of countries such as Korea, China, USA, Brazil, India, Japan, Germany and France have successfully learned the Uzbek language in these language training courses. Friends who study together not only get better academic outcomes but study for longer.

Ozoda Gulyamova, Director of TSUULL Uzbek School:

– Uzbek School is a new project within TSUULL University. It combines over 75 years of experience in the Uzbek Language of TSUULL University – the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature was the first to start functioning in 1935. The academic board is the fundamental unit of the School and it is responsible for ensuring academic quality and high standards in the field of teaching, learning, collaboration with international partners and the integration of graduates into the professional community.
