Kyushu University is the largest university on Kyushu Island and is located in Fukuoka City. According to QS World University Rankings for 2020, Kyushu University is ranked 132nd in the world and 17th in Asia. Kyushu University, a public university in Japan, is the fourth oldest university in Japan.

Kyushu University welcomes students who study at prestigious universities in their home country and who will play an important role in the future of their country. Scholarships are available for international undergraduate and graduate students. Thanks to this scholarship program, international students have the opportunity to get education and establish good relations with Kyushu University.

The Scholarship pays for it:

1.Travel costs: 1. No more than 100,000 YEN is allocated for travel. An economy class flight is paid for by direct round-trip flight.

2.Monthly stipend. For undergraduate students – 80,000 YEN, for graduate students – 100,000 YEN.

The University provides 5 scholarships per year. Period of stay at Kyushu University: October 2020 – March 2021.

Requirements:

– Scholarships are available for international students who are enrolled at a non-Japanese university.

– The student must have been studying at Kyushu University for at least 3 months and for at most 12 months. If a student is enrolled in the Double Degree Program, the student may study for more than 12 months at the time of application.

– The student must be accepted as an exchange student by one of Kyushu University’s schools.

– A student must have an excellent command of English.
