STUDENTS FROM THE NETHERLANDS WILL STUDY IN UZBEKISTAN UNDER THE EXCHANGE PROGRAM

A new step was taken within the framework of a newly signed memorandum of cooperation between Leiden University and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. Currently, a group of students studying Persian at Leiden University will come to study at TSUOS as part of the academic exchange program of the Erasmus+ project.

Rector of TSUOS G. Rikhsiyeva, who is currently on a business trip at Leiden University, gave a lecture to Leiden University specialists about the higher education system of our country, the history of TSUOS, current activities, personnel, the training system and international cooperation.

During the visit, there were discussed the study plan for students of Leiden University in the Persian language group for the 2nd semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. After negotiations, this program was approved.
