On September 13, the Second Forum of Rectors of Central Asian Countries was held at the National University of Tajikistan. The forum was attended by representatives of the scientific community, rectors and teachers of more than 80 universities in Central Asia, including the delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of rectors and vice-rectors of higher educational institutions of our country.

The forum participants took part with their reports in two working sessions of the Forum – “Trends in international education in a changing world: traditions and innovations” and “Development of scientific and pedagogical cooperation as a factor of international integration in a multicultural educational space.”

The speech of university leaders highlighted important aspects of the integration of the higher education system of the Central Asian countries into the global educational space, strategies for interuniversity cooperation, the creation of joint projects and their success.

As a result of the negotiations, universities in Uzbekistan signed more than 20 Memorandums of Understanding, Agreements and Road Maps, covering various areas.
