THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF RECTORS OF UNIVERSITIES OF UZBEKISTAN AND KYRGYZSTAN HAS STARTED ITS WORK

The plenary session of the I-International Forum of Rectors of universities of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is held in full-time format.

At the forum, participants make presentations on issues of cultural, humanitarian and scientific cooperation between the two states.

At the beginning of the conference, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Komiljon Karimov, speaking with a report, emphasized that as a result of the reforms carried out in recent years in the higher education system of Uzbekistan, the number of universities has reached 211, including more than 30 branches of foreign higher educational institutions.

It was also noted that there are more than 90 interuniversity Agreements and Memorandum of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, which serve as a solid basis for the contractual and legal framework of cooperation.
