THE AUSTRIAN AMBASSADOR VISITED THE UZBEKISTAN STATE WORLD LANGUAGES UNIVERSITY

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Uzbekistan (residence is in Vienna) Matthias Radostich visited Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The parties held bilateral talks, during which the rector and Tukhtasinov spoke in detail about the university’s activities, teaching German, and cooperation with higher educational institutions in Austria.

The parties also stressed the possibility of sending students to partner universities for internships. I.Tukhtasinov offered to professionally translate the works of Austrian writers and poets into Uzbek, etc.

The Ambassador expressed his willingness to assist in attracting German language teachers to advanced training courses, as well as assistance in establishing cooperation with Austrian universities.

On the same day, Matthias Radostich got acquainted with the infrastructure of UZSWLU and noted that decent conditions for students and teachers were provided at the university.
