Teachers and students of the Confucius Institute at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages took part in the ceremony of awarding the “Embassy Scholarship” organized by the Chinese Embassy.

The event was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Mr. Yu Jun. The Ambassador personally presented certificates and scholarships to the winners.

This year a total of 17 students of the SamSIFL and the Confucius Institute received the scholarship. The Chinese Embassy Scholarship was established in 2022 to encourage Uzbek students who study Chinese diligently.
