THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE WEEK OF INNOVATIVE IDEAS “INNOWEEK-2023” TOOK PLACE IN TASHKENT

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov opened the week of innovative ideas “InnoWeek-2023”, held by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation on October 16-20 this year under the slogan “Creative education and innovation – the basis for the development of a New Uzbekistan”.

– This year the Week is held simultaneously throughout the republic, – said I. Abdurakhmonov. – Uzbekistan has risen to the 84th place in the Global Innovation Index. Thanks to cooperation with international partners, we will achieve even higher indicators in this rating.

We will continue to develop our country’s economy with the help of science and technology. The work within the Week will be carried out at more than 60 sites with more than 450 partners.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Ramiz oglu Mehdiyev, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangpukto Province of Korea, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangpukto Province of Korea Lee Dal Hui, Mohammed Bin Rashid State Innovation Center, UAE Abir Takhlak and others.
