TOPICAL ISSUES WERE DISCUSSED WITH THE KOREAN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AGENCY KOICA

Today, on October 16, representatives of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) visited the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and met with the university’s leadership.

At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of UZSWLU gave brief information about the activities of the university, international cooperation and teaching of the Korean language. In turn, the Project Manager of the KOICA Korean Center for International Development, Ms. Bok-Hee Kim, gave information about KOICA’s activities and projects.

The meeting discussed the implementation of a volunteer project to improve the teaching of the Korean language and culture of the KOICA organization worth $ 1.12 million.

Also, discussions on improving the work of the Korean Language Center, including the provision of educational and methodological literature, national costumes and instruments, attributes of Korean culture, as well as professional development of teachers of the Korean language.
