“UZBEKISTAN-INDIA: RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF ART, SCIENCE, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES”| UZSWLU HOSTED AN INTERNATIONAL FORUM

On May 4, 2021, Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted an International Forum “UZBEKISTAN-INDIA: RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF ART, SCIENCE, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES”.

This Forum is initiated in view of the imminent need to obtain overall assistance required to the research scholars. On the proposal of many young Uzbek scholars, Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture agreed to provide requisite research guidance and material from local and international scientists, experts, and researchers working in this field and increase the effectiveness of mutual scientific cooperation.

Within the framework of the Forum, seminars and round tables are planned to be held every two months. Foreign experts, in particular from Indian higher educational institutions, will participate through the online platform.

This forum will serve as an opportunity for professionals to share their knowledge and an experimental school for young scientists.

The forum was attended by Mr. Shri Manish Prabhat, the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan; Mr. Ulugbek Azizov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University; Mr. Shakti Sinha, an expert on International affairs and board member of India Foundation; Prof. Chander Shekhar, The Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture Embassy of India; Prof. Narzulla Jurayev, Head of the Department of Social Sciences Uzbekistan State World Languages University; Prof. Gaybulla Babayarov, National Archaeology Center Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; Ms. Dildora Khodjaeva, Ph.D., Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India; Ms. Rano Tuychiyeva, Ph.D. student, Uzbekistan State World Languages University; Researcher, Academy of Science of Republic of Uzbekistan Institute of Oriental Studies, and other specialists and scientists of higher educational institutions.
