UZBEKISTAN STATE WORLD LANGUAGES UNIVERSITY WELCOMED GUESTS FROM THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

On September 25, 2023, Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, the rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, received Mohamed Alzaheriy, the head of the economic, political and media affairs department of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Uzbekistan and Hamad bin Siroy, a professor at the United Arab Emirates University.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the issues of developing cooperation in the field of exchanging teachers, researchers and students between the higher education institutions, implementing international projects with the financial assistance of the UAE’s funds and donor organizations, organizing winter and summer schools on the Uzbek language and culture and developing mutually beneficial relations in other areas of interest.

After the meeting, Professor Hamad bin Siroy gave a presentation on “The Creative Heritage of the Emirates” for the teachers and students of the Arabic language at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
