WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS: “KOREAN LITERATURE OF THE 20TH CENTURY”

At the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, within the framework of the International Research Project Seed Program for Korean Studies “Linguocultural aspects of teaching the Korean language and literature in the Republic of Uzbekistan” of the Korean studies program of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Studies Promotion Service of the Academy of Korean Studies of the Republic of Korea, passed the 2nd stage of the Workshop for students from 3 universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Kimyo International University in Tashkent, Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The students made their presentations on the topic: “Korean Literature of the 20th century”.

For reference: Workshop based on the concept of “workshop” points to the central idea of this invention – all students should be active and independent. The purpose of the workshop is to study and identify the most relevant trends and genres in the literature of Korea in the 20th century.

Target audience: Students studying such disciplines of Korean studies as history, language, literature, culture, etc.

Expected end result: further development of the research direction of domestic Korean studies in the close relationship of the language, literature and culture of Korea. Identification and solution of topical educational and pedagogical problems in the field of Korean studies.

The participating teams independently chose the format for the presentation of scientific and practical work (report, essay, creative work, etc.). Regardless of the chosen format, background PPT presentations were prepared.

A jury of leading experts in the field of Korean studies summed up the results and determined the worthy and best among the best. The jury is chaired by Tsay L.D. (Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies), Min Jae Ung (Kimyo International University in Tashkent), Lee Yu Mi, Mukhiddinova Malika Batirovna (Tashkent State Pedagogical University), Yun Nan Ju, Azimova Amira Muminovna (Uzbek State University of World Languages), as well as youth wing of the jury consisting of Tyo D.E. (Youth Center “Shinsedae” under the Association of Korean Cultural Centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan), Kan M.A. (Uzbek State University of World Languages), Davlatova F.H. (Uzbekistan State World Languages University).

While the jury was deliberating and calculating the marks, a coffee break was organized for all those who are not fasting.

The winners were a team from UzSWLU: Nurmatova G.O., Abdulloeva F.O., Salokhiddinova M.Zh., they were the most convincing, creative, informative, with an element of theatricality, which affected the jury’s assessment and in awarding them the first place. They were also awarded the 1st place Prize Stella.

Next, they were followed by a group from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami: Kim Diana 3rd year, Islamova Dilnara 2nd year, Urazmetova Feruza 2nd year, who made a friendly team with a presentation on the topic: “Literature of the 20th century: “Literature cannot be read-literature must be felt”

The guys from the teams of the Kimyo International University (KIUT) in Tashkent Gofurova Nodira Bakhodir qizi, Niyazova Dilfuza Dilshod qizi, Kan Anna Vyacheslavovna, Soy Irina Maksimovna, Kayumov Uigun Sultanali ugli, Ulashev Mirzobek Olim ugli, Toshpulatova Sarvinoz, Romozonova Nigina, Rakhmonova and 2nd year students from UzSWLU: Olimjonova Asalbonu Ziyojon qizi, Tohirova Iroda Sa’nat qizi, Shanazarova Irodakhon Khurshid qizi, Kodirova Madina Gairatovna, Rustamova Durdonakhon Khakimbek qizi, Keldiyorova Yokuthon Khusniddin qizi, Abduvohidova Sanobari.

All teams performed well and as brilliantly as possible. The support group was adequately represented by all universities

The hosts of the Workshop were Khvan Anastasia Sergeevna and Elkin Denis Yuryevich.

The winners were awarded valuable gifts and diplomas.

All participants and guests were awarded Certificates.
