WORLD VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN CHINA

A delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation took part in the “World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference” held in the People’s Republic of China from November 19 to 23.

At the international conference, reports and proposals were made by ministers and deputy ministers of education of more than 40 countries pursuing policies in the field of vocational education, as well as heads of Chinese colleges and companies, as well as representatives of Uzbekistan.

As a result of the conference, the Tianjin Consensus on the development of global vocational education was adopted. This consensus contains proposals put forward by the Uzbekistan delegation on the formation of green skills in vocational education, ensuring the integration of education and production, attracting qualified teachers to education, and creating adequate conditions for women and people with disabilities to receive vocational education.

It should be noted that within the framework of the conference, a number of meetings and negotiations were held with the Chinese side on the development of higher and vocational education.
