50 teams of higher educational institutions and more than 500 young people took part in the republican stage of the Olympics; they competed in the disciplines of scrabble quartet, checkers, chess and personal games.
The winners of the game “Zakovat” were announced after additional questions:
- 1st place: Bukhara State Medical Institute;
- 2nd place: University of Science and Technology;
- 3rd place: National University of Uzbekistan.
The winning teams will be awarded the following cash prizes:
- 1st place: 100 million soums;
- 2nd place: 60 million soums;
- 3rd place: 40 million soums.
The final rating will be known after the final of the Brain Ring game, which starts soon. At the moment, the USAT team took 1st place, the UzMU team took 2nd place. The winner of 3rd place will be determined after the Brain Ring final.
