A BRANCH OF BAUMAN MOSCOW STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY TO BE ESTABLISHED

A Presidential Decree (PQ–276, dated 08.09.2025) has been adopted on the establishment of a branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Tashkent.

According to the decree, the main areas of activity of the Branch have been defined, particularly in the field of engineering:

– training highly qualified specialists with in-depth scientific and technical knowledge and the ability to apply innovative approaches;
– conducting fundamental and applied scientific research.

Educational activities at the Branch will commence in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Admission of students will be carried out both on state grants and on a tuition-fee (contract) basis.

Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, joint master’s degree programs will be launched in cooperation between Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Tashkent State Technical University.

Graduates of the Branch will be awarded a standard diploma of the University, which will be recognized in Uzbekistan as a document of higher education.
