The winners of the World German Language Olympiad, which took place from July 15 to 22 in Göttingen, Germany, have been determined.

Three participants won Olympic gold medals at once:

• Ibragimov District (Uzbekistan);
• Mahek Khan (Bangladesh);
• Anna Kotovska (North Macedonia).

The second and third places went to students from Mexico, Italy, Slovakia, Poland and the United Kingdom.
