A GROUP OF PROFESSORS FROM UZBEKISTAN TAKING PART IN THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CÁDIZ

Professors from the Department of Theoretical Disciplines of the Spanish Language at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages are actively participating in the STAF WEEK program held at the Jerez campus of the University of Cádiz (Spain) within the framework of the Erasmus+ international academic exchange initiative.

During the visit, a range of seminars, training sessions, and cultural-educational events were organized for the participating faculty members. The program is designed to promote international academic cooperation, enhance teaching methodologies, introduce innovative approaches to the educational process, and foster intercultural dialogue.

One of the highlights of the week was the “Flamenco Festival,” held in the central square of Jerez. The event drew participation from international academics, including representatives of USWLU, and was widely covered by local media outlets such as Canal Sur and Diario de Jerez.

This collaboration serves to strengthen scientific and pedagogical ties between higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and Spain, facilitate international experience exchange among faculty and students, and contribute to the broadening of academic and cultural horizons.
