A NEW CHAPTER IN ACADEMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND TAJIKISTAN

On July 25, 2025, a solemn graduation ceremony was held in the city of Khujand for the first cohort of graduates from the joint educational program implemented by Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) and the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics (TSULBP).

The event was attended by TSUE Rector Tulkin Teshabayev and TSULBP Rector Muminzoda Sheroz Abdujabbor, who, in their congratulatory speeches, highlighted the academic, cultural, and socio-economic importance of the joint initiative.

It was emphasized that the graduates had gained in-depth knowledge and practical skills within a modern, digital learning environment supported by both universities. The rectors also expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of scientific ties between the brotherly nations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

During the event, graduates and their parents expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to study in such a program, noting its vast prospects for the youth of both countries.

The graduates proudly shared that studying under highly qualified professors from both universities provided them not only with a solid theoretical foundation but also with internationally recognized diplomas, enhancing their competitiveness in today’s job market.

The ceremony concluded with vibrant musical performances that reflected the rich cultural heritage of both nations, accompanied by songs celebrating friendship, which created a warm and festive atmosphere. This became yet another symbol of not only the successful partnership between the two universities but also the growing bonds of friendship and fraternity between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
