A NUMBER OF ISSUES WERE DISCUSSED AT THE CHINESE NATIONAL CULTURAL CENTER

The rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Prof. Ilhomjon Tuhtasinov, visited the Chinese National Cultural Center at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Tashkent.

During the visit, a discussion was held on the prospects for cooperation between the university and the cultural center.

The purpose of the visit was to elevate bilateral relations to a new level. The meeting focused on the development of joint projects in the fields of education and science, the expansion of exchange programs for students and academic staff, as well as the strengthening of intercultural dialogue.

The parties also discussed cooperation with the Chinese side in teaching Russian or Uzbek to Chinese citizens and employees of Chinese companies in Uzbekistan, attracting Chinese applicants to higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, particularly to UzSWLU, and other related issues.
