With the participation of Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Education Reform, and Kungratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, reports by rectors of several higher education institutions on the work carried out during the current year and their strategic plans for the coming year were reviewed.

During the discussion, the heads of Tashkent State Agrarian University, Tashkent State University of Law, the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports, the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture, and Gulistan State University delivered presentations on the results of their institutions’ activities in 2025, achieved outcomes, and key priority objectives for the future.

The meeting outlined priority tasks for 2026, including further improvement of the educational process in higher education institutions, strengthening research and innovation activities, training competitive specialists aligned with labor market demands, and enhancing the effectiveness of university governance.
