A meeting was held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) within the framework of the “Green Skills for a Green Economy in Central Asia” project.



The meeting was attended by Minister Kungirotboy Sharipov, Director of the Vocational Education Agency Azimjon Khusanov, GIZ Country Director in Uzbekistan Joachim Fritz, and Project Advisor Jahongir Jorayev.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement aimed at modernizing the vocational education system, developing dual education, and training specialists with relevant skills for the green economy sectors.

The document outlines the priority areas to be implemented within the project and provides for the step-by-step development of a concrete action plan, as well as the efficient use of the allocated grant funds.
