AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WAS HELD AT THE INITIATIVE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TSUKUBA

On March 17, 2025, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted the 16th International scientific and practical conference on “Research of the Rising Sun: theoretical and practical approaches of Japanese studies in solving global problems of the era of change.”

The conference, held for the 16th time on the initiative of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the University of Tsukuba (Japan), is notable for the fact that it is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of cooperation between the two higher educational institutions.

The international conference was attended by 25 leading scientists and researchers with scientific reports from 10 higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan, Japan, and other countries.

During the conference, issues related to linguistics, culture, history, politics, translation and literary studies of Uzbekistan and Japan, as well as innovative methods of learning foreign languages were discussed.
