At India’s Banasthali Vidyapith University, Prof. U. Yoldoshev, Dean of the Faculty of Translation at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), and Associate Professor of the “Practical Translation of the English Language” Department, A. Akhmedova, delivered lectures on modern approaches in linguistics and translation studies. The event was organized for undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Languages.

Professor U.R. Yoldoshev presented a lecture titled “The effective strategies of using Artificial Intelligence in translating different types of texts.” Associate Professor A.N. Akhmedova also participated with her lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence in Translation Pedagogy: A Critical, Evidence-Based Perspective.”

During the lectures, students received detailed information about Uzbekistan’s rich culture, literature, education system, and the role of UzSWLU in the field of translation studies. The event continued in a Q&A format, during which students of Banasthali Vidyapith expressed their interest in visiting Uzbekistan, getting closely acquainted with Uzbek culture, and studying at UzSWLU.
