B2B MEETINGS HELD BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES OF UZBEKISTAN AND JAPAN

Today, October 31, B2B meetings were held as part of the Fifth Uzbekistan–Japan Rectors’ Forum.

During the discussions with the rectors of Sophia University, the University of Tsukuba, and Nagoya Institute of Technology, participants exchanged views on new stages of cooperation.

In particular, discussions with Sophia University focused on teaching the Russian language and accepting students of this field to the National University of Uzbekistan within academic mobility programs. The meeting with the Rector of the University of Tsukuba addressed potential cooperation in IT technologies and robotics.

Also, Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Gulchehra Rikhsieva and Head of the “Japanese Philology” Department Nodira Khalmurzaeva met with representatives of the University of Tsukuba, Toyo University, Yamagata University, Sophia University, and Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.
The parties discussed creating broader opportunities for student exchange and Japanese language teaching, as well as implementing joint scientific and innovative projects.
