BILATERAL STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND THE UNITED STATES REACHES NEW HEIGHTS
November 6, 2025On November 6, 2025, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his working visit to Washington, met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.
The leaders held talks in the Oval Office, discussing the development of Uzbekistan–U.S. strategic partnership, strengthening political dialogue, and expanding trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.


They also focused on implementing the high-level agreements reached in September in New York and discussed deepening cooperation between Central Asian countries and the U.S. in the “C5+1” format.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Donald Trump on his achievements in domestic and foreign policy, emphasizing his contribution to the peaceful resolution of international and regional conflicts. Donald Trump, in turn, praised the Uzbek leader’s productive meetings with U.S. government officials and major companies.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides stressed the importance of developing mechanisms to advance joint projects, and President Mirziyoyev invited Donald Trump to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
