CONFERENCE ON TEACHING THE UZBEK LANGUAGE IN THE DIGITALIZATION ERA HELD

An international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Challenges of Teaching the Uzbek Language as a State and Foreign Language in the Digitalization Era: National and International Experience” was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The conference was opened by the university’s Rector, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor I. Tukhtasinov. The event featured speeches by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor O. Yusupov; the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Doctor of Philology, Professor A. Nasirov; as well as representatives from foreign higher education institutions — Ozlem Kurt (North Macedonia), PhD, Associate Professor Sholpan Kudyarova (Kazakhstan), Professor Begam Korayeva, and Associate Professor Darya Zhigulskaya (Russian Federation).

The conference participants discussed innovative methods of language teaching, the international significance of the Uzbek language, and the effective use of digital resources in the educational process.
